Pablo Vidal was born in Buenos Aires in 1970. He studied classical guitar before moving to rock and blues, passed through a string of bands, and completed a degree in music therapy in 1995.

Since 2001 he has lived in Évora, working with musicians from across the Alentejo and neighbouring Extremadura. His songs are all his own, and he describes them as a hybrid of styles rather than a genre — rock and folk shot through with the Latin American songbook he grew up in.

His releases include Canciones Urgentes Para un Mundo en Llamas, Senda In, Yo creo en vos, and Som Argentijano, recorded with Ernesto Vidal.
