The companion piece to Solitude of Contemplation in the same Ílion park — another contemplative woman built out of the artist's subtle grid, painted near his own neighbourhood after a season of festival walls across Europe.
A roughly 10 by 15 metre wall in the Antonis Tritsis park in Ílion, in Athens' western suburbs. A woman sits inside herself, assembled from offset rectangles of colour that read as pixels close up and as a face from across the park.
A very large Athens wall named for Tláloc, the Mexica rain god — a face that arrives out of flat geometric planes rather than out of modelling, which is Pupet's whole argument about how recognition works.
